Are you thinking for acupuncturing? But don’t know the procedure or sessions? Well, here we are. Let’s find out how often to go for acupuncture –
Acupuncture is not like a typical appointment in the doctor’s chamber. It is a continuous process. Every patient in this field is treated with different method. So duration amount of sessions also varies from one to another. Acupuncturist Dublin divides the patients into three categories:
How often to go for Acupuncture
Acute phase :
This is the most carefully handled phase in Acupuncture. Because these patients have never been to Acupuncture before. This phase contains the new patients with pain and trauma. This phase again composes three different stage–
The immediate patients-
These are the patients with most fresh pain. As like if you had a sprain in ankle last night, you are an immediate patient of acute phase.
The early patients –
This category consists of patients who are in pain for some weeks or months. e.g.if you are suffering from back pain during pregnancy you are an early patient of acute phase.
The delayed patients –
this is phase of people who have a long history of pain and sufferings. If you are tired of being a migraine patient for years, but never got treated, you are a delayed patient.
As it is clear that pain and patients can be on different stages, treatment is going to be different of course. Acupuncturist in Dublin brings you some treatment plan –
- If you are an immediate patient, you need to have a little aggressive plan for better result. Because the more time you waste on delaying, the more you will lost in pain. In an immediate phase, you may need to go for acupuncturing for once or twice in a week for at least one month.
- If you are an early patient, you should go for puncture yourself for twice in a week for two to three months to get rid of your pain.
- And lastly, in case of delayed patients, you need to realize that your pain has not developed overnight. It has increased gradually. So you need to shed it off even more slowly. If you are in hurry and want to recover very quickly, it may result in opposite direction. You need to get punctured for twice in a week for six months to a year, until you have completely recovered.
It is great if you are progressing, defeating your painful symptoms, but just can’t leave a process in midway. So you need to keep acupuncturing on regular basis. Twice to thrice in a month is enough for this phase. If you continue this regularity, you will be in maintenance phase soon.
If you are completely fine, relieved and free from all pain and sufferings, but still want to maintain this healthy lifestyle, you can take sessions. But let be calming not in hurry. Go for Acupuncture for once in a month. But it would be better to consult with your trainer first.
This is all about ideal sessions and duration of Acupuncture. If you are in pain but confused, trust me, try Acupuncture. Thank me later. Enjoy!
